We use a Commercial Vermeer SC252 Stump Grinder that will grind any size stump from small to large. The SC252 will fit through a 36” Gate for those locations with limited access. It will grind stumps from 4” to as much as 12” below the surface.

We have ground hundreds of stumps varying in size from small to over 5 feet in diameter. The large ones naturally take longer to grind. We can also grind surface roots that interfere with mowing and landscaping. The SC252 will also remove mature shrubs that are difficult to dig out by hand.

A free estimate can normally be provided over the phone when you have an accurate description of the work you need performed. On large jobs or jobs that provide an unusual challenge, we can drive by at a convenient time and provide the estimate on site.
